We purchased the Escalera Staircat Powered Stair Climber Hand Truck to move appliances in San Francisco most of the elevators in these buildings are over 100 years old so we were having to do it all by hand carrying it up and down the staircases. The transaction was an overall super experience. The set of replacement wheels came just in time for my daughter and her husband to move into their newly purchased home!! 

The company was careful that I didn’t order an incorrect size. I appreciated that. All parts and nuts and bolts were there with plain and simple instructions. 

I have a beverage delivery route, and durability is important since I typically haul 4 to 5 cases on a single hand truck which weigh about 35lbs each. I was looking at folding hand trucks since my delivery truck is usually packed with cases leaving me with not much room for extras. My research lead me to this Magliner Folding Compact Hand Truck, and although this was by far one of the most expensive, it's also most durable. It took me a while to pull the trigger due to price, but now that I have it, I wish I wouldn't have hesitated.

Sure was simple to install. I took tools expecting to create the thing. Only needed a tape measure for piano dimensions and a 9/16 wrench to tighten bolts. Once dimensions of piano were found, I stretched or shorted the dolly to fit. Found 4 willing men in the Café and wam. We lifted the piano and a Barrista slid it underneath. Rolls around easily. We got this Escalera Hand Truck for getting kegs and spent grain up from a small brewery located about 3 1/2' below grade level. I'm 66 and was the first to use it. I had to get 10 half-barrels (about 130 lbs each) up for a pickup. I got them all up and in position in 27 minutes, with hardly any effort. This is an amazing piece of equipment!

I love my Escalera Stair Cat. I used in an elementary school with no elevator makes very short work of pulling a dolly loaded with cases of paper to the third floor.
