Expand descriptionThis 30,000 lbs capacity Steel Yard Ramp from Bluff Manufacturing is 30 feet long and is fully inclined designed for most standard stationary ground to dock applications. It is available in 5 different nominal widths giving you plenty of options in choosing the right ramp size for your material handling application.
Bluff’s Yard Ramps were made with the intention of finding safe and cost effective solutions to many loading dock issues. It is built out of heavy duty fully welded steel ensuring robustness, resilience and durability capable of withstanding harsh and rough applications.
Furthermore, one of Steel Yard Ramp’s notable feature is its beveled approach on the bottom end of the ramp while the rest are made out of serrated steel grating improving maneuverability, traction and ensuring smoother operations on the ramp while keeping-off water, snow, dust and other debris on it.
The Yard Ramps include safety chain locks used to secure the ramp in place and a free towing accessory either a ramp clamp or a tow bar intended for easier moving and transferring of the ramp using a forklift. You can also select the optional handrails to guarantee the safety for both your workers and your cargos in any material handling scenario.

YARD RAMP SELECTION GUIDELINES
CAPACITY
The capacity you select must be greater than the combined weight of your heaviest forklift and the heaviest weight of anticipated loads it will carry.
WIDTH
Yard Ramps are available in 70” and 84”, 96", 102" and 120" standard nominal width, with the 84” model capable of accommodating most applications. The usable width is 6” less than the nominal width, and the usable width should be at least 15” wider than the widest equipment to be used on the ramp. Custom widths are available. For railcar use, select the ramp width wide enough to prevent the forklift from hitting the ramp curbs as it turns into the railcar. Consult your forklift manual for radius turning capabilities. Measure railcar door openings to make sure the Yard Ramp will fit.
TYPE AND LENGTH
Straight – 30’ Length: This type is used primarily for ground to dock applications, where no level off is required.
