This is an amazing piece of gear we had been using a regular hand truck to move 300lb copiers up stairs. Now we can do this with 2 men instead of 3 and the 2nd one is really only there to help avoid bumping into walls.
Advantages: The lifting power is excellent and requires less manpower. The seat belt style straps are easier to use than the ratchet straps we used to use.
Disadvantages: The charging pigtail needs some sort of retainer to Tuck it up out of the way when the hand truck is being used.

I'm really satisfied with Escalera, it does the job as it should. Sturdy, powerfull and not to loud. Quality of finishing should be little higher considering the price ( for example rubber protectors easily fall off but that's not a big deal and can be fixed easily ). Otherwise everything is great.

I'd like to start off by saying it's well built I like the escalara, But there is definitely a learning curve I do arcade machines that are top heavy you still need two people, I also do machines like pinball machines and slot machines one person can do that fine.
Definitely would recommend the crossbar on top and at least one extra strap, Speaking of the straps they are like seatbelts style definitely need to be ratchet style for something that is heavy that would be a lot better design.
Advantages: Plenty of power works great not so great and top heavy items tough to balance on the stairs, Of course the best part is my back does not hurt.
Disadvantages: Seatbelt straps need to be some type of ratchet style, Expensive is a disadvantage also tons of add ons that cost lots of money another disadvantage,

We purchased the Stair Power climber to move appliances in San Francisco most of the elevators in these buildings are over 100 years old so we were having to do it all by hand carrying it up and down the staircases.
This purchase has made life 100 times easier.
We got the extended tow plate, big wheel attachment, upgraded battery, swivel caster attachment and an extra extension strap. We were able to not only move appliances but other large extremely difficult and bulky items.
Advantages: Advantages are we were able to customize our order!!! It’s not just sitting in a warehouse it was made just for us. Batteries both came fully charged. Packaging was in excellent condition, delivery driver was prompt and communicative.

We got this Escalara hand truck for getting kegs and spent grain up from a small brewery located about 3 1/2' below grade level. I'm 66 and was the first to use it. Advantages: Sturdy frame, detachable pnuematic wheels make navigating to stairs a breeze detachable large lifting plate is great for boilers and furnaces, detachable barrel braces work great for water heaters. self contained, self retracting straps are handy and neat. Options for building to make specific to each users needs.
Disadvantages: Long lead time for delivery after placing order. In all fairness, customer service was good about keeping me informed on the delivery status. The 4-5 week wait is acceptable if made clearer when placing an order.

Purchased this product because we deliver home appliances in the foothill area. All homes have stairs in our area, from one to thirty or forty. Appliances today can be extremely heavy, especially refrigerators. My delivery crew can now load the unit and easily deliver into a customers home.
Advantages: This unit is compact enough that it works well on narrower applications. The larger wheel attachment now makes it a lot easier to move across gravel and unlevel ground.
Disadvantages: At this point, we have not found any disadvantages to the unit, however, we have only had it for one week.

Works effortlessly, a lot of power for a little unit
Advantages: Regular size hand truck that is a work horse and doesn't way a ton, easy to use. Recommend the bottom extension plate and wheel kit. These options are a must.
Disadvantages: Battery charger connection could use some improvement but that is it.

I recently renewed my hot water heater it was long over due for a changing. It was half full of sediment & weighed about twice as much as it should have. The Escalera staircat made the job of getting it up the stairs from the basement very easy & nobody got hurt. A fine piece of equipment. Keep up the good work !!

Although we have had the unit only a few days it has already been put to use for the intended purpose and has made the task much less labor intensive. With recently installed water softeners on the buildings air conditioning system we would normally be manually transporting 60 lb. bags of salt up a flight of stairs and distributing at these units. The purchase of the MS-60 including the big wheel and cross handle attachments has significantly reduced the labor factor and burden that the task would place on staff.
Advantages: Safety, reduced labor and increased production.
Disadvantages: None at this time.

I am a plumber andI found the Escalera stair climber very easy to use and a big help for my business. I have used other types of electric hand trucks but the Staircat is is the best choice and easiest to use.
Advantages: Light weight one person operation ,saves on labor.
Disadvantages: Haven't found anything

I've known about this product for quite a while but at the time I couldn't fit it into the budget. If I would have known it was as useful as it is, I would have changed my priorities! I'm a cabinet maker, so the use of this product may not be of the norm, but trying to move cabinets up narrow residential stairwells is quite challenging and takes up to 6 people. Now all I need is two people and the Escalera! Now the challenge of moving cabinetry upstairs is not, for the most part, impossible. And I can make more of my cabinets in one piece instead of knock down and rebuild. Also the worry of damage has decreased immensely. There's a lot to be said for piece of mind. Thank you so much!
Advantages: For me, my business runs smoother with the Escalera, less chance of injury, damage and my planning and fabrication is more streamlined.
Disadvantages: Once again, for me, there is NO downside, win/win all the way.

Just uncartoned this cart- haven't got it out in the field yet, but did some drills with it in our shop- I think this stairclimber will be a valuable part of our tool arsenal.

Good service at time of placing order. Called later the same day to upgrade hand cart selection to 1200 lb model and was nervous that they wouldn't be shipping the correct item. Hal got it RIGHT! My helper and I removed 3 different boilers approx. 600 lbs each before noon today. What a back and time saver!
Advantages: powerful,big wheel attachment goes on and off quickly and easily, light weight easy to maneuver between lifts.
Disadvantages: none so far

Ours came in today, haven't had the chance to try it yet. Looked it all over and it is very well made, very good construction. Quick shipping and packed very tight, no slipping. I bought the Escalera after seeing it demonstrated at Pinball Expo 2014 in Chicago. I have a small collection of pinball machines and unfortunately, I have to keep then upstairs in my home. The stairclimber worked perfectly going up the stairs and the battery lasted long enough for me and friends to move around 5 machines with no notice of battery drain.
