I have bad knees and going up and down stairs is hard on me. Sure was simple to install. I took tools expecting to create the thing. Only needed a tape measure for piano dimensions and a 9/16 wrench to tighten bolts. Once dimensions of piano were found, I stretched or shorted the dolly to fit. Found 4 willing men in the Café and wam. We lifted the piano and a Barrista slid it underneath. Rolls around easily. We borrowed the Escalera Staircat Powered Stair Climber Hand Truck from another plumber to try it out before purchasing ours. After using it one time the decision to purchase was a quick one. This has been a very good investment that should have been made a long time ago.

I have a beverage delivery route, and durability is important since I typically haul 4 to 5 cases on a single hand truck which weigh about 35lbs each. I was looking at folding hand trucks since my delivery truck is usually packed with cases leaving me with not much room for extras. My research lead me to this Magliner Folding Compact Hand Truck, and although this was by far one of the most expensive, it's also most durable. We purchased the Escalera Staircat Powered Stair Climber Hand Truck to move appliances in San Francisco most of the elevators in these buildings are over 100 years old so we were having to do it all by hand carrying it up and down the staircases. These are used to move 800lb hydraulic elevator tank/ pump assemblies/ tall elevator controllers, and misc elevator crates in and out of buildings.
