Sure was simple to install. I took tools expecting to create the thing. Only needed a tape measure for piano dimensions and a 9/16 wrench to tighten bolts. Once dimensions of piano were found, I stretched or shorted the dolly to fit. Found 4 willing men in the Café and wam. We lifted the piano and a Barrista slid it underneath. Rolls around easily. This is the second set of Twin Dollies I have purchased from Handtrucks2go. These are used to move 800lb hydraulic elevator tank/ pump assemblies/ tall elevator controllers, and misc elevator crates in and out of buildings. As a plumbing contractor with a fully equipped machine shop, I was going to make one myself but decided to spend the $ and not look back. I have to admit for a small business the cost for one of these Escalera Hand Trucks was biggest factor as to why I never bought one. I purchased the Jansen Grand Piano Dolly for my 5'2" Cable Nelson Baby Grand. I am very happy with it. I was worried about assembly, but it turned out to be easy. I'm glad I purchased the one with brakes as one day I will have hardwood floors again. I'm absolutely happy.

The Escalera Stair Climber is an awesome hand truck. Works as advertised. Very easy to use. I opt the forklift option and it greatly helps to balance the load. Moved multiple 500 lbs. geothermal heat pumps in a 3 story house with 2 guys. It took less than 10 minutes to climb 1 geo unit all 67 steps. This dolly even climbed spiral staircase with ease. I would highly recommend this dolly to anybody that has to move heavy object up and down the stairs.

This is a great dolly for our baby grand. Assembly is a two-person job. It's not difficult, but you just need four hands at times. I have plenty of help to lift the piano onto the cart. The cart works great and looks good too. Highly recommended.
