We purchased the Escalera Staircat Powered Stair Climber Hand Truck to move appliances in San Francisco most of the elevators in these buildings are over 100 years old so we were having to do it all by hand carrying it up and down the staircases. This purchase has made life 100 times easier. We got the extended tow plate, big wheel attachment, upgraded battery, swivel caster attachment and an extra extension strap. The Escalera Motorized Stair Climber with Forklift Hand Truck is a beast! In addition to easily lifting up to 1,200 lbs up stairs, its best feature is the "forklift," which allows you to lift loads onto the bed of a truck effortlessly.

I love my Escalera Stair Cat. I used in an elementary school with no elevator makes very short work of pulling a dolly loaded with cases of paper to the third floor. The forklift attachment works great for loading heavy furniture up onto a stage.  I also used to require 4 men tto move a heavy wooden desk downstairs but now it can be accomplished by one person with NO back pain!

This is the second convertible hand truck of this type I've purchased, the first of which I left at our cabin in New Hampshire. Up there I use it for hauling wood and boulders around. Down here I use if for transporting music gear and bags of garden soil.

These Upright Piano Dollies work great! Keep asking myself "Why did you wait so long?" Everyone in our Family can move the piano easily, even my granddaughter! 

I have to admit for a small business the cost for one of these Escalera Hand Trucks was biggest factor as to why I never bought one. The Escalera Stair Climber is an awesome hand truck. Works as advertised. Very easy to use. I opt the forklift option and it greatly helps to balance the load. Moved multiple 500 lbs. geothermal heat pumps in a 3 story house with 2 guys. It took less than 10 minutes to climb 1 geo unit all 67 steps. This dolly even climbed spiral staircase with ease. I would highly recommend this dolly to anybody that has to move heavy object up and down the stairs.

Love our Glaro Bellman Cart. Feels ultra sturdy and looks real high class. Delay in shipping but customer service was great at getting factory to push cart for sooner delivery date.
