We got this Escalera Hand Truck for getting kegs and spent grain up from a small brewery located about 3 1/2' below grade level. I'm 66 and was the first to use it. I own a HVAC company. I recently had back surgery and I needed to find a way to load/unload from my trucks and get my equipment/ units up and downstairs, in attics and on shelves. This is it! I purchased the Escalera Motorized Stair Climber along with Hitch/Reciever and the Big Wheel attachments which are most definitely must haves. Being able to move my HVAC equipment by myself has been quite liberating and is saving a lot of additional labor expenses. It's a little slow, it takes me about 2-3 minutes to go up a flight of stairs by myself, which is fine considering that I am not hurting myself or tired after I'm done.

Learning to go down the stairs was a challenge at first but totally doable. The Powered Wheel Barrow is an amazing product, I certainly wish I’ve discovered this years ago. We live in Florida where the grass is thick and pushing a regular wheel barrow is like a workout. We purchased the Escalera Staircat Powered Stair Climber Hand Truck to move appliances in San Francisco most of the elevators in these buildings are over 100 years old so we were having to do it all by hand carrying it up and down the staircases.
