Sure was simple to install. I took tools expecting to create the thing. Only needed a tape measure for piano dimensions and a 9/16 wrench to tighten bolts. Once dimensions of piano were found, I stretched or shorted the dolly to fit. Found 4 willing men in the Café and wam. We lifted the piano and a Barrista slid it underneath. Rolls around easily. This is the second convertible hand truck of this type I've purchased, the first of which I left at our cabin in New Hampshire. Up there I use it for hauling wood and boulders around. Down here I use if for transporting music gear and bags of garden soil.

I love my Escalera Stair Cat. I used in an elementary school with no elevator makes very short work of pulling a dolly loaded with cases of paper to the third floor. I own a HVAC company. I recently had back surgery and I needed to find a way to load/unload from my trucks and get my equipment/ units up and downstairs, in attics and on shelves. This is it! I purchased the Escalera Motorized Stair Climber along with Hitch/Reciever and the Big Wheel attachments which are most definitely must haves. Being able to move my HVAC equipment by myself has been quite liberating and is saving a lot of additional labor expenses. It's a little slow, it takes me about 2-3 minutes to go up a flight of stairs by myself, which is fine considering that I am not hurting myself or tired after I'm done.

Learning to go down the stairs was a challenge at first but totally doable. I find myself very popular among my friends and family who have been getting me to come show off my new toy to move various large items like a pinball machine, a refrigerator, a safe etc. All in all I'm very pleased with my purchase. I bought the Compact Fully-Electric Pallet Jack from Apollo Lifts to support our growth an take some of the work out of using manually pallet Jack's. It work much better than expected.
