We purchased the Escalera Staircat Powered Stair Climber Hand Truck to move appliances in San Francisco most of the elevators in these buildings are over 100 years old so we were having to do it all by hand carrying it up and down the staircases. This piano dolly is amazing. I can now move my expensive piano smoothly and safely, regardless of the cracks in the side walks. It is so easy to turn, steady, and push. It handles the rough terrain so easily. This company has great customer service. They always responded to my correspondence. When a wheel broke off, they replaced the whole dolly at no cost to us. I have a beverage delivery route, and durability is important since I typically haul 4 to 5 cases on a single hand truck which weigh about 35lbs each. I was looking at folding hand trucks since my delivery truck is usually packed with cases leaving me with not much room for extras. My research lead me to this Magliner Folding Compact Hand Truck, and although this was by far one of the most expensive, it's also most durable. It took me a while to pull the trigger due to price, but now that I have it, I wish I wouldn't have hesitated.

The Escalera Motorized Stair Climber with Forklift Hand Truck is a beast! In addition to easily lifting up to 1,200 lbs up stairs, its best feature is the "forklift," which allows you to lift loads onto the bed of a truck effortlessly.

This is a great dolly for our baby grand. Assembly is a two-person job. It's not difficult, but you just need four hands at times. I have plenty of help to lift the piano onto the cart. The cart works great and looks good too. Highly recommended.

We got this Escalera Hand Truck for getting kegs and spent grain up from a small brewery located about 3 1/2' below grade level. I'm 66 and was the first to use it. I had to get 10 half-barrels (about 130 lbs each) up for a pickup. I got them all up and in position in 27 minutes, with hardly any effort. This is an amazing piece of equipment!
